Software Engineering
Software engineering often includes designing, programming, developing, launching and maintaining software. It also includes linear analysis, project management and engineering, application, digital devices management, etc.
Course Objective: train and prepare students to analyze, design, build, launch, maintain and troubleshoot software systems.
Graduates’ Abilities
Software engineering graduates will get the required skills and knowledge to address software related problems, some of which are as follow:
1.    Evaluating, appraising and using software;
2.    Assessing software needs and shortfalls in industrial and service areas, ascertaining requirements, studying feasibility and determining required means and human resources to address the needs that are previously identified;
3.    Analyzing small to medium size software systems and presenting appropriate solutions;
4.    Designing small to medium size software;
5.    Delivering computer designs, installation, testing and training;
6.    Backing up and maintaining software systems including troubleshooting and adding new facilities to the existing systems;
7.    Troubleshooting computer systems;
8.    Designing, developing, launching and maintaining databases and web-based software systems.
