Avicenna Professors and Students’ Recent Success Story
Quality and standard education proves rewarding, however, taking long. Avicenna professors and students have recently made major accomplishments, indicating competence and efficiency of AU’s educational system.
Mr. Ahmad Shah Mobarez, an AU Economics Professor, is awarded a Fulbright Doctoral Fellowship to pursue a PhD in the United States. Furthermore, three students from AU Economics and Social Sciences Faculties have received South Asian University (SAU) scholarships. SAU is run by the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) and is a renowned university in Southern Asia. SAU offers 30 graduate scholarships per annum for citizens of eight SAARC member countries, out of which 15 goes to Indian citizens and the remaining 15 will be distributed amongst 7 countries. Through a competitive selection process this year, following AU students are awarded the scholarship.
1. Mohammad Yasa Hakimi, a Sociology graduate has received a fully funded Silver Jubilee Scholarship
2. Mohammad Reza Rezae, a Business Economics graduate has received a fully funded Silver Jubilee Scholarship
3. Mohammad Anvar Amani, a Business Economics graduate has received a fully funded Merit Scholarship
